Casey Anthony –– Editor-in-Chief
Senior Casey Anthony is editor-in-chief of the Spotlight and has worked as a features editor and staff reporter since her freshman year. Previously, she was part of the newspaper staffs at Southern Lehigh Middle School for three years and Hopewell Elementary for two years. Casey wanted to join the staff because she loves writing and uncovering the truth. She most likes to write about current events and features. A highlight in Casey’s reporting was meeting former Russian President Mikhail Gorbachev when she covered his visit to Lafayette College in 2011. In addition to the Spotlight, Casey is involved with Key Club, National Honor Society, Teen Counseling, and Robotics. Outside of school, she enjoys dancing, reading, and writing poetry. Casey has won several awards, including the Girl Scout Bronze and Silver awards and three poetry contest awards.
