Revolutions: Bethlehem’s Newest Hot Spot

Located right on Route 378, Revolutions is a family fun center that includes bowling, arcade games, and a restaurant called The Red Brick Grille. It opened in January 2013, replacing The Regal Cinema that closed in July 2011.

“[Revolutions] is a creative way to incorporate something entertaining for the whole family,” junior Kolbi Harding said.

The most popular attraction at Revolutions is the unique bowling alley. At nighttime the bowling lanes light up so you can bowl in the dark. In addition, music plays throughout the building to create an inviting and entertaining atmosphere.

“[Bowling] is my favorite thing to do because the lanes are so spacious and they used the movie screens as TVs at the end of each lanes,” Harding said.

Another unique feature includes the ability to order food so that you can enjoy both eating and drinking while you bowl.

Revolutions makes entertainment possible for kids of all ages, providing arcade games as well as bowling.

“It’s a far better alternative to Chuck-E-Cheese,” Natasha Bull, a community member and mother of three, said.  “[Chuck-E-Cheese] is a nightmare for parents!”

Bull had her son’s seventh birthday party at Revolutions and said that the staff took care of the whole thing, and everybody had a great time.

Over the past year since opening, Revolutions has produced a lot of business and earned a lot of great reviews.

“I heard its a really nice place,” freshman Timmy Walters said.

Revolutions offers a lot of options for teens, giving kids an alternative to hanging out at  the movies.

“I would give [Revolutions] a rating of 8 out of 10,” Harding said.  “I would recommend it because it is a refreshing change of pace compared to the other attractions around this area.”
