Facebook is switching it up on us again as they redesign the ever-so-popular news feed. The popular social media site has rapidly approached the general public with a wait list to try out the new version this time around.
In the past, the news feed has forced its way upon all users almost immediately. This time it will slowly be introduced to the social media homefront on random users.
“I payed almost no attention to it last time, so I don’t think I’ll notice much this time” senior Lenny Paparo said.
The new design aims to help users organize what appears on the news feed. Facebook users will now be able to separate their friends, people they follow, groups they belong to, photos and more. The feed will be more visually focused, as it will feature larger photos for a better display.
“I think that making the pictures larger is better,” senior Candace Ly said, “but I don’t see the need for all the other new additions.”
