Anna Esposito, Staff Reporter

Senior Anna Esposito was a two-year staff reporter for the Spotlight. In addition to being on the Spotlight student newspaper staff, she was a part of the Solehian yearbook staff both her freshman and senior years.

Anna loves going to school events, especially the football games she attended to support her boyfriend who was a member of the team. She really enjoyed dressing up for the themes that the student section chose for the games. The one thing Anna disliked about high school was the SAT Tests, as she felt like those tests didn’t show who the true person Anna was academically.

Outside of school she ran two 5k races, one on the Saucon Rail Trail and one on New Year’s Eve in Bethlehem. She enjoys spending time with family and friends and stays active by playing tennis, bike riding, snowboarding and just being outside in general.

In the fall, Anna plans to attend Moravian College in Bethlehem to major in English and minor in business. As she gets ready for the next phase of her life, she would like to give some words of wisdom to upcoming students, friends, and family.

“Stay true to who you are always, and live every moment you have left in this school to the fullest,” she said. “You have four years here and you want to make it the best.”

Anna wants to thank her parents for being there for her whenever she needed it and for helping her reach the fullest potential. She would also like to thank her boyfriend for giving her the best two years of her life and for many more to come in the future. Finally, she thanks Southern Lehigh for giving her the best five years of her life because when she came to this district back in eighth grade, she finally felt like she belonged, and she will miss it terribly!

Anna leaves with this quote by Marilyn Monroe, “Imperfection is beauty, madness is genius, and it’s better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring.”
