Senior Brandyn Berean was a two-year staff reporter for the Spotlight. In addition to being part of the student newspaper, he also played on the varsity football team for all four years of high school.

Brandyn loved being a part of the football team, in fact one of his favorite memories in his high school career was preparing for “war” every Friday night with his teammates. His least favorite part of high school was the Keystone exams because they meant nothing to him.

Outside of school, Brandyn loves spending time with friends and family. He also loves to stay active by playing football, golf, and baseball. When he is not hanging out with family and friends or playing sports, he lifts weights at the gym.

With only a couple of short weeks left until graduation, Brandyn has some last-minute advice for students going through the rest of high school.

“Make the best of everything you do,” he said. “Don’t slack off or it will hurt you in the long run. Have fun as you only get to experience high school for four years and then you're in the real world.”

Brandyn has many people to thank for making his high school experience one he will always cherish. First, he would like to thank his parents for helping him to achieve his full potential and never give up on anything he puts his mind to. He also would like to thank his friends for giving him memories he will remember for the rest of his life.

There are two important people who made his high school experience extra special. He would like to thank his girlfriend for being there for anything he was involved in and giving him the best two years of his life, and looks forward to the  many years ahead. Finally, he would like to thank his best-friend Teagan for being such a great friend, and he hopes that the relationship will continue throughout their lives after high school.

In the fall, Brandyn plans to attend Delaware Valley University in Doylestown. He will major in business, and he is still deciding whether to specialize in accounting or entrepreneurship.
